YELLOWCARD
Yellowcard is a pop-punk band from Jacksonville, Florida. In 2023 we worked together to develop the merch line for a headlining summer tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of their album, Ocean Avenue, and have had a consistent working relationship ever since.
Each merch line we’ve done since has its own visual identity, while still maintaining a cohesive look that’s true to Yellowcard’s music and fanbase– Fun, sunny and nostalgic.
Fun fact: Yellowcard’s team reached out after seeing my social media post about my love of Ocean Avenue, a seminal album for me. It was my passion for and knowledge of their music, as well as my design capabilities, that lead me to my first opportunity to work for them. I’ve designed every tour merch line and poster for Yellowcard ever since.

“YC BUDDIES”
One of the earliest designs done for Yellowcard was the “Only One” design for their 2023 headlining tour, featuring illustrations of two “rubber-hose” cartoon Y and C characters. After noticing their popularity with fans, these characters have returned for multiple merch appearances– Driving a vintage van, and most recently, building a snowman for holiday-themed merch. They will continue to appear as a through-line from one merch line to the next.

Red Rocks Poster
This was a first for both parties– Yellowcard’s first time playing the iconic venue, Red Rocks, and my first time designing a poster for it.
Our goal was to pull in imagery we’d been using for Yellowcard, like the sun and the moon, and alligators (native to their home state, Florida) while also honoring the artwork that’s native to the region of Colorado where Red Rocks stands. After leaning on a lot of yellows and golds, we decided to switch it up for a high-contrast punch of neon red and forest green in the final silkscreened poster.
