pabst blue ribbon
The reliable taste and affordable price point of Pabst Blue Ribbon have made them a punk and DIY-scene staple for decades– and that’s no mistake. Part of the famous brewery’s mission is to support emerging artists and music scenes all over America, through sponsorships and the sale of merch, that give back to music communities.
I’ve been lucky to work with Pabst Blue Ribbon a handful of times on everything from banners for music fests, to ads in magazines, to shirts in support of some of their favorite emerging artists. Our goal is always to marry the recognizable blue ribbon branding with unique identities of the musicians and venues the design is supporting. Check out some of my favorite work we’ve done together.

hatebreed x amh
Before legendary Long Island music venue Amityville Music Hall temporarily closed for renovation in January 2024, they held a series of fundraiser shows headlined by hardcore band Hatebreed. Pabst Blue Ribbon sponsored the event and commissioned the official poster for this residency.
The illustration’s goal was to reference both Hatebreed’s lyrics and iconography, as well as create a metaphor for Amityville Music Hall’s new renovation. The iconic blue ribbon was also snuck into the design to pay homage to PBR’s sponsorship.
