Manchester Orchestra is an indie rock band from Atlanta, Georgia. In 2023 I was tapped to develop a merch line for their co-headlining tour with Jimmy Eat World, The Amplified Echoes Tour.
Our goal was two-fold; First, to put a new spin on old imagery that fans had always gravitated to, and second, to create imagery that could be used across multiple merch items to make the most of their budget. The versatile designs I illustrated for that tour continue to be used on merch items today and are still available in their online store.

OLd favorite, new twist
Manchester Orchestra were looking to revamp their “Fighting Tiger” design that was formerly a fan favorite. Our goal was to go for a more “vintage” sort of type, and the illustration they were drawn to was a traditional tattoo-style tiger head.
The style of the tiger drawing lends easily to multiple merch styles– It can easily be scaled up or down, and can be printed in one color or many, and still retain its readability.
