Born and raised in New York, as a child I spent my time creating imaginary friends and creatures out of anything I could get my hands on, whether they became scribbled on paper or made into stuffed toys from felt. Luckily my parents always cultivated my interest in creating and once I discovered illustration as a possible avenue I never quite looked back; in 2013 I graduated from the School of Visual Arts with a BFA in Illustration.
My work is greatly influenced by women; their transformative abilities and our exploration of identity and sexuality. Pop culture, science, music and storytelling all inspire my vision to create and hopefully work their way into my art. I strive for my pieces to be equal parts powerful punches and delicate details, often calling upon symmetry and bold color.
